The Thin Blue Line
The Fraternal Blue line Organization is a corporate partner and major charitable fundraiser to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund.
The THIN BLUE LINE -- the internationally recognized symbol of law enforcement -- is the exclusive symbol of law enforcement officers who daily place their lives on the line protecting our communities. Fraternal Blue Line's mission is strengthening the bonds of camaraderie that naturally occur within the law enforcement community.
The BLUE LINE NOTIFIER secretly alerts other law enforcement officers that you are a fellow officer. The blue line represents the officer who is the last line between good and anarchy, between respect for decency and lawlessness. The black background constantly reminds us of the fallen officers.
Because the symbol is universally recognized by members of the law enforcement profession, you will instantly send a silent message to fellow officers that you also walk the THIN BLUE LINE.
Blue Line merchandise is sold only to law enforcement personnel. The Blue Line is intended to be displayed and/or worn only by law enforcement officers and/or their spouses... no one else... not children, relatives, friends, etc.
Unifying the Law Enforcement Profession
Recognizing Living Officers
Honoring the Deceased
Owned and operated by brothers Keith and Mark Fetterman, Kiski Valley Uniforms and Supply has been a primary source of uniforms and supplies for law enforcement, fire, EMS and postal employees in Southwestern Pennsylvania since 1981.
Originally located in a small storefront in the North Apollo Plaza, KVUS quickly outgrew its facility and moved to its current location in Leechburg.
In the summer of 2009, KVUS expanded to a second location in Murrysville to better serve the Pittsburgh metropolitan area.
The Fetterman brothers have a close connection with the clientele they serve. During his term as mayor of Apollo, Mark recognized the need for an outlet where uniformed personnel could purchase the items necessary to perform their duties. Keith has spent over 25 years with the Oklahoma Fire Department and Ambulance Service, serving in various capacities. He is currently President of Oklahoma's Fire Department.
The brothers attribute their success to three things:
